Koppers Chocolates
Koppers produce the first quality panned chocolates in the US (1937), originating a large percentage
of the dragees still enjoyed today. Koppers perfects liquid center Cordials and becomes the first
chocolate officially certified Kosher. Koppers wins the first of unprecedented 6 awards as
US Domestic Chocolate Of The Year by the NASFT, along with numerous other national and
international awards. In 1970 Koppers invents the first Chocolate Covered Espresso Beans,
and in 1978 invents the Chocolate Covered Gummi Bears.
