I had emailed out of curiosity to find out if my item had been shipped (knowing your hot weather rules), as I could not find it Via the tracking information. I was informed it was held due to hot weather - but said they would immediately ship it by Priority mail!! Such service!!!

Highly recommended for quality and service

A couple of years ago when I was searching for a Lindt product unavailable in local stores, I was thrilled to find it via an online search at Global Chocolates. I found their selection to be exceptional and their pricing to be very good. The quality of the chocolates (and I have tried a variety of different brands in addition to the Lindt I was initially looking for) is excellent, and the delivery always prompt, with good packaging for freshness (this being especially important in the summer months) and care
that the items are not crushed or damaged. Customer service is courteous and efficient. Once there was a slight delay in a pre-ordered product, the I was efficiently informed and given the option of cancelling if it was not convenient. It turned out not to be a problem, and the chocolates arrived at the new specified time. The only slight improvement I would suggest is the online ordering page could be made a little easier to fill in/and or change an an item without all the "required" boxes to check off (i.e. where you heard about them); sometimes when you want
to change something, you have to keep going back to re-check
the boxes and it is annoying.
Overall this site is highly recommended for quality of their
products and their service. Tell your friends!

The 3 things that bothered me was the fact that you had to give ID (which I really don't want to send my entire license along the web or the other information on there is confidential, especially these days with identify theft, also the fact that you had to sign for the package (it's very hard when people work and they could not schedule a time nor do they work on Saturday's) and the shipping seemed high.  I purchased this same candy from 2 other places and neither of them needed ID or a signature to receive the merchandise.  I could see if I was purchasing a bottle of alcohol then I could accept these rules, but it's only candy with very little alcohol and if someone under age were going to go to all this trouble I think they would try for a bottle of alcohol versus candy.

So I hope you consider some of my comments.  You had great communication with email and great products.

I've done business with Global Chocolates for many years and have always had outstanding customer service, fabulous chocolates and very speedy delivery. The chocolates themselves are of excellent quality and are always fresh when delivered. When necessary, special packaging is done to protect chocolates for hot weather in the southeastern U.S.even in the spring and fall. On special occasions, the beauty and creativity of their super special gifts are second to none. At the office, many still remember a special gift from several years back and hope I will do a repeat performance for the enjoyment of all! That gift necessitated a special delivery truck to deliver the gift!The service is personal and perfect. All of the chocolates that have been ordered are beautifully wrapped and well presented in carefully prepared shipping boxes. Gifts are delivered very rapidly. On special occasions special gift packages were designed and shipped for the special occasion! This company is very outstanding in their service and has remained so over a period of years. I always use this company when I want to deliver a special gift that is of the highest quality and is always in good taste. Most of the chocolates are imported and are wonderful in flavor, texture and, of course, aroma.

When you add up all of the pros with nothing in the con department you have a company that is a pleasure to do business with as well as a gift that is absolutely perfect in every detail. Good product, speedy delivery, not so good communication

Delivery speed was good, product is excellent. Problem I had was I accidentally marked 2 of the cooling components, when I meant to order 2 of one of the candy bars. I notified them by email, but never got a response and was charged for 2 of the hot weather packaging.
